Luciano Pignataro

Luciano Pignataro is a professional journalist and works at "Il Mattino" where he has been writing a column about wine for several years. Since 1994 he has kept up with the great revival of the viticulture of Campania and Southern Italy. His main interests are the quality catering, the defence of typical products and the eco-friendly agriculture.

He is an author of guides and books on gastronomy among which "Guida ai vini della Campania", "Guida ai vini della Basilicata", "Guida Agli Agriturismi della Campania", "La cucina napoletana di mare" and "Le ricette del Cilento". He contributes to several trade magazines and he is a consultant in marketing projects for quality food and wine producers of Southern Italy.
