The extraordinary charm of the Sorrento Peninsula is due to the fact that every place has original characteristics and a beauty of its own. The rocks, the houses, the sky and the sea create a unique atmosphere. It is different from other places like Scandinavia, for example, where the landscapes are almost the same everywhere.
This restaurant is between Amalfi and Positano, maybe it is the most intimate and private corner where those who love essentiality have always taken refuge.
This hotel is furnished in a simple way. The restaurant looks like a floor in the sky. From the terrace and the veranda you can see the sky and enjoy a beautiful view over the rocks. The furnishings are minimalist and in a sea style with tables covered with hemp and linen serviettes.
Here you will find a modern metropolitan style, the beauty of nature, an attentive service and the passion of the young chef Sabatino Amendola. You can start your meal with a marinated tuna-fish on tomatoes with basil and rings of red onions from Tropea, raw beef with citrus fruit from the Sorrento Coast with an egg yolk, rocket and “caciocavallo” cheese flakes, an aubergine gratin with smoked provola and basil pesto sauce and red prawns from the Tyrrhenian sea on a vegetable bed seasoned with garlic and oil.
The cuisine is in a simple style and is based on local high quality raw materials. It meets the needs of gourmets and food lovers.
The vegetarian menu costs about 50 Euros, the traditional menu costs about 55 Euros, the seafood tasting menu costs 75 Euros and the meat tasting menu costs 70 Euros.
The wine selection includes original items and is good, even if isn’t wide.
The menu a la carte costs 60-70 Euros.
