In this area of Campania which is not well known yet, with fertile lands
crossed by the Volturno river, the owners of the farm continue to manage an
activity which was started by their ancestors two hundred years ago. In fact
they are above all farmers, as they like to point out, and then guests of the
tourists coming here or of the pupils who follow the didactic paths like the
ones regarding apiculture or biologic cultivations. This 100 hectare farm,
managed by the family, has an ICEA certification and is specialized in the
production of vegetables and honey, jams, purées and fruit juices. The two
mini-flats, which spring in a wooden chalet, are furnished in a very simple
style as the new double rooms which are ready to welcome all those who want to enjoy
the country life for some days.

The restaurant room, made of wood, is furnished in a country style and stained
check tablecloths invite you to cheerful banquets. Many dishes are prepared
with the products of the farm, so meeting the needs even of the most rigorous
vegetarians. In fact here it is possible to find vegetarian cuisine. The chef
Orsola with her staff proposes many recipes made with vegetables and a light
cooking so taste and freshness are enhanced. The first courses are very good
like “tortelli” pasta with pumpkin, “pettole” pasta with beans or chickpeas,
soups with legumes. The main dishes are wisely personalized like pork sausages
with orange jam or the rabbit in the Annibale style cooked with vegetables without
sauce. On Sundays you can taste dishes based on buffalo meat. You can finish
your meal with baba and homemade tarts. Don’t miss the “pizza figliata”, a
dried dessert made with short pastry, pine nuts, honey and dried fruit.
There is a well stocked sales point of biologic products (produced on the farm
itself and coming from other firms, too) which is open every day. They breed
farmyard animals. Thanks to the cooperation of the Faculty of Agriculture of
the Portici University they organize meetings and didactic thematic paths.
